Wheels of Fortune II
December 2, 2009 | Category: Skate Event, skateboarding, skate barn, Snocon News Network, manik skateboards, Skate Like a Girl, FTWFollowing the success of last year’s Wheels of Fortune, Skate Like a Girl is back with the next installment at the Skate Barn (2900 Lind Ave SW, Renton) on December 20th. Female skaters will compete for a $1000 cash purse. Like many other Skate Like a Girl events, it is open to all girls and women and will feature a one hour beginners clinic starting at noon (participants must sign up at 11AM).
Entry to the event is free, entry to the clinic is $15, and the fee to participate in the $1000 skate jam ranges from $5-$30 based on skill level. The event will be emceed by Manik’s Marshall Reid. Check out this video from last year and the poster below:
