Hot Sheet Toms Shoes Edition

Alright, here we go, our first of many Hot Sheets for you Women only! We have a Snocon Women’s Blog too, but more on that in the near future. Here we go, something for the Snocon Ladies out there:

Snowboard Connection has just received their first shipment of TOMS women’s shoes. It seems like TOMS are everywhere these days, but if you haven’t heard of them, here’s the scoop!

In 2006 the owner, Blake Mycoskie, was travelling in South America. While there he befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created a company that would match every pair of shoes sold with a pair given to a child in need. Blake returned to Argentina later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes. Since their beginning, TOMS has given over 140,000 pairs of shoes to children in need, and plans to give over 300,000 pairs this year.
